Ted Cruz To Top Obamacare Administrator: Why Aren’t You Keeping Track Of Uninsured Covered By ACA?

Ted-cruz-1
I hope you’re sitting down before we get to the latest bombshell from the Obamacare administrators, because if you fall from disbelief and hurt yourself on account of Obamacare, I’m not sure you’re covered by Obamacare.

Buckle up, and here we go:

CMS' Cohen, asked how many uninsured signing up for ACA: “That's not a data point we are really collecting in any sort of systematic way”

— Sam Baker (@sam_baker) March 6, 2014

This prompted the Ted Cruz official account to ask, “why not?”

May I ask why not? https://t.co/7pQmYDThCR

Gary Cohen is the top U.S. health insurance regulator for Obamacare who was accused of misleading Congress about the readiness of the legislature’s website, HealthCare.Gov. At the first National Health Insurance Exchange Summit, Cohen caught everyone up to speed on the “success” of the Obamacare roll out, but when he was asked how many of the reported 4 million covered by Obamacare were those that were uninsured, his answer was that they aren’t even collecting that data.

That’s right – the entire reason for the job was supposedly to help cover millions of Americans who couldn’t afford insurance, and they aren’t even collecting information on whether it’s doing that or not. Makes you wonder what the real purpose of the bill is, doesn’t it?

Oh, by the way, in case you’re wanting to hold your breath waiting for an answer from Cohen to Ted Cruz’s question, don’t. He’s resigning his position at the end of this month.
