If You Were Offended By The Deleted ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’ 9/11 Poster, You Won’t Like These 3 Others Either!

The Australian Twitter account of Paramount Studios came under attack and ridicule after tweeting a poster of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that reminded some of the 9/11 terrorist attack. The furor made them take it down very soon after, but as we all know, the internet is forever. Here’s a screencap of the tweet:

I don’t think this would have been an obvious reference to 9/11 except that the movie is slated to premiere on… September 11th. Yet another occasion to feed the outrage machine. Still, it makes us wonder about these OTHER Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie poster mock-ups that were leaked from Paramount – these are definitely offensive!

Ok granted, the White House was burnt down back in the 19th century, so there’s probably not a lot of frayed emotions over that one. But really, this next is like, are you guys serious?

I mean I’m not sure how Michael Bay intends to work in the attack on Pearl Harbor, but he could have at least made the turtles pro-American instead of joining our enemies. It makes sense for winning foreign market theaters, but it seems a little insensitive. That post pales in comparison to this last one:

Oh C’mon! C’mon Paramount, really!?* We at the SooperMexy blog unanimously condemn these ludicrously offensive posters that shock the conscience of the American people! Although it probably won’t be nearly as bad as what Michael Bay does to the turtles. In theaters on September Eleventh.
