Hmmmm….. In 2011 Trump Mocked Ron Paul And Rosie O’Donnell For Blaming 9/11 On Bush!

Well today Trump got tired of being the “nice guy” apparently, and decided to really rip into the Bushes by saying it was George Bush’s “incompetence” that brought on 9/11.

He continued on Twitter:

But here’s some irony – in 2011 he mocked Ron Paul and Rosie O’Donnell for being 9/11 truthers:

While it’s certainly not the same, it does seem at least slightly hypocritical.

  • Only the Donald can get away with this. Amazing.

Trump is for cracking down on illegal immigration. If there was anything whatsoever here to let slide, I’d let it slide.

meh… Trump doing what Trump does – implying something without specifically saying something and letting his supporters ‘fill in the blanks’. If a supporter blames Bush for 9/11 then the Donald is just ‘telling it like it is’; if a supporter doesn’t blame Bush for 9/11, then The Donald is just stating a fact “Bush was President during 9/11” and nothing else was implied by Trump’s statement. I’ve seen both explainations offered at other web sites.

It does seem so slightly hypocritical that it isn’t. ”blaming America” is even a lot more vague than ”blaming society” for something.

There seems to be a slight difference between what Trump and Paul are saying. Paul is buying into the whole idea that Bush was part of a conspiracy. Trump is merely saying that Bush failed to prevent a situation.
