Here’s The Evidence Obama Wiretapped Trump Tower…

The media is reporting that Trump made his wiretap accusations this morning without supplying any evidence, but they’re not admitting that there IS evidence it happened, only that Trump neglected to supply it.

The Guardian reported on the first wiretap request in January:

The Guardian has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. According to one report, the FBI was finally granted a warrant in October, but that has not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether any warrant led to a full investigation.

They linked to this report from Heat Street, from November:

Mark Levin put all the pieces together in a segment on his radio show we posted yesterday. You can listen to it here.

But this brings up a very important question – did Trump just confirm the wiretapping?

So the big question is if Trump is actually confirming the reports, or if he’s just going off the reports, without asking for confirmation from the intelligence agencies.

I suspect it’s the latter, just because this was tossed out in a morning tweet tirade. If he really thought this stuff, I would think he’d be demanding investigations not just making unsubstantiated allegations. But we’ll have to see. As it is, the media is freaking out over the accusations, and that’s all Trump needs to declare a victory.
