Debunking Obama’s “Truth Team” Lies: Part ONE

This is the first in what I hope will be a long series of posts declaiming and mocking the idiocy that is sputtering out of Obama’s “Truth Team”, the reconfigured Attack Watch totalitarian effort to stifle disagreement with this administration’s agenda.

First up, this recent post from February 24th, 2012:

So Obama intends to compare his record on gas prices to Mitt Romney’s record, since it is clear that rising gas prices will be very much on the minds of the American voter this year. Notice the language here – the administration has claimed, and will continue to claim that “demand for foreign oil is at a 16-year low under President Obama,” but offers absolutely no evidence of the policies that he put in place to actually accomplish this. In fact, as lately as March of last year, even Bill Clinton was criticizing Obama for not doing enough to increase gas production!

Perhaps it was because Obama was too busy encouraging his Marxist friends in Latin America to drill off their shore, while maintaining and extending the offshore drilling ban in America! Continue reading

Obama Energy Plan: Pond Scum!

I couldn’t keep myself from doing a photoshop of Obama’s energy plan – who wants a t-shirt?!

This brilliant plan from the administration that blames the KOCH Brothers for raising gas prices, while saying it’s the world market at fault, but never ever the president! He has algae energy! That’s right, Pond Scum 2012!

“Mr. America” Rap Song

It has come to my attention that not everyone has seen the great rap song by Stephen Crowder. He got some bad press from the left, unsurprisingly, as they’ll rip on anything conservatives produce. I was actually surprised how good it is – I don’t usually like conservative rap songs, but this was well written, performed and produced.

The supposedly controversial “knickers” line is very clever and witty. Anyway, enjoy it, and spread it around.

Koch Bros Call Obama’s Ridiculous Accusations “An Abuse of the President’s Position”

In response to the accusation of Jim Messina, anti-Latino moron Obama campaign manager, that the Koch brothers’ “business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump,” Koch Companies made the following response [I have added emphasis]:

A Letter to the Obama Campaign

Mr. Jim Messina
Campaign Manager
Obama for America

Dear Mr. Messina:

Because every American has the right to take part in the public discourse on matters that affect the future of our country, I feel compelled to respond directly about a fundraising letter you sent out on February 24 denouncing Koch. It is both surprising and disappointing that the President would allow his re-election team to send such an irresponsible and misleading letter to his supporters.

For example, it is false that our “business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump.” Our business vision begins and ends with value creation — real, long-term value for customers and for society. We own no gasoline stations and the part of our business you allude to, oil and gas refining, actually lowers the price of gasoline by increasing supply. Either you simply misunderstand the way commodities markets work or you are misleading your supporters and the rest of the American people.

Contrary to your assertion that we have “committed $200 million to try to destroy President Obama,” we have stated publicly and repeatedly since last November that we have never made any such claim or pledge. It is hard to imagine that the campaign is unaware of our publicly stated position on that point. Similarly, Americans for Prosperity is not simply “funded by the Koch brothers,” as you state — rather it has tens of thousands of members and contributors from across the country and from all walks of life. Further, our opposition to this President’s policies is not based on partisan politics but on principles. Charles Koch and David Koch have been outspoken advocates of the free-market for over 50 years and they have consistently opposed policies that frustrate or subvert free markets, regardless of whether a Democrat or a Republican was President.

If the President’s campaign has some principled disagreement with the arguments we are making publicly about the staggering debt the President and previous administrations have imposed on the country, the regulations that are stifling business growth and innovation, the increasing intrusion of government into nearly every aspect of American life, we would be eager to hear them. But it is an abuse of the President’s position and does a disservice to our nation for the President and his campaign to criticize private citizens simply for the act of engaging in their constitutional right of free speech about important matters of public policy. The implication in that sort of attack is obvious: dare to criticize the President’s policies and you will be singled out and personally maligned by the President and his campaign in an effort to chill free speech and squelch dissent.

This is not the first time that the President and his Administration have engaged in this sort of disturbing behavior. As far back as August, 2010, Austan Goolsbee, then the President’s chief economic advisor, made public comments concerning Koch’s tax status and falsely stated that the company did not pay income tax, which triggered a federal investigation into Mr. Goolsbee’s conduct that potentially implicated federal law against improper disclosure of taxpayer information. Last June, your colleagues sent fundraising letters disparaging us as “plotting oil men” bent on “misleading people” with “disinformation” in order to “smear” the President’s record. Those accusations were baseless and were made at the very same time the president was publicly calling for a more “civil conversation” in the country.

It is understandable that the President and his campaign may be “tired of hearing” that many Americans would rather not see the president re-elected. However, the inference is that you would prefer that citizens who disagree with the President and his policies refrain from voicing their own viewpoint. Clearly, that’s not the way a free society should operate.

We agree with the President that civil discourse is an American strength. That is why it is troubling to see a national political campaign apparently target individual citizens and private companies for some perceived political advantage. I also hope the President will reflect on how the approach the campaign is using is at odds with our national values and the constitutional right to free speech.

Wow. Not much to add to that. Well done, Koch bros.

Read my response to the ridiculous accusations by the Obama admin here.

Obama Blames Koch Bros for GAS PRICES?!

This is just beyond the pale. Oh wait, I shouldn’t use the word “pale”, it’s probably a racist dog-whistle!

This campaign email came out from Jim Messina, the idiot campaign manager who previously mocked Latinos, under the subject heading, “They’re obsessed”:

In just about 24 hours, Mitt Romney is headed to a hotel ballroom to give a speech sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, a front group founded and funded by the Koch brothers.

Those are the same Koch brothers whose business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump, and who have bankrolled Tea Party extremism and committed $200 million to try to destroy President Obama before Election Day. Continue reading

Ron Paul’s Unholy Pact with Mitt Romney

Tonight was the last debate of the Republican Primary for this election cycle. While there will be much proliferation of punditry, there’s one terribly important observation to be made that makes certain what many people have theorized before:

Ron Paul has whored himself out to Mitt Romney.

Ron Paul has made some very impressive gains this year, mostly due to the volatility of the race. It seems. however, that contrary to his and his followers’ insistence of his purist principles, Ron Paul is throwing his hat into the establishment corner, and helping Mitt Romney to win the nomination.

What’s the evidence? I’ll admit it’s mostly circumstantial and anecdotal.

UPDATE: Here’s a video I put together of the attacks Ron Paul made on Santorum, with text detailing the obvious opportunities he had to slap Mitt around as well, and didn’t:

Watch the debates over again. Early on when Tim Pawlenty seemed to have a chance, people were surprised that he was more animated at attacking Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann, letting Romney skate along. After he dropped out, Michelle Bachmann seemed to take up the job of blocking for Mitt, as she attacked Santorum and Newt. Once she dropped out, and for the last few debates, Ron Paul has mercilessly attacked  Newt and Santorum. In this last debate, he especially went after Santorum, who is the biggest threat to Mitt.

Look at this exchange where Ron Paul goes after Santorum, calling him a “fake”:

Media Matters For America’s David Brock Refuses to Respond to Charges on Ed Show

David Brock, founder of liberal media propaganda outlet Media Matters for America, was on the Ed Schultz Show today to promote his book on Fox News. While there, Ed asked him about a series of articles at the Daily Caller, exposing how MMFA organizes media messaging for the Obama administration.

Listen to the audio below:

DAVID BROCK on the ED SHOW refuses to answer to charges

He said, in part:

“The noise from the Daily Caller, which was picked up and trumpeted far and wide by Fox News… happened all in the run up to the publication of this book… Folks know that Tucker Carlson is a paid contributor of the Fox News channel…to dampen, I think, the effect that we think the book is going to have, and I don’t think they haven succeeded. We haven’t responded. Reuters said that the piece was bad journalism and propaganda, and we don’t feel we need to respond to that.Continue reading

Obama Appeases Muslims, Offends Catholics

As a contribution to the ongoing discussion about Obama’s recent change in policy in reference to respecting Catholic’s right to religious freedom, I offer the following contrast in policy towards Muslims:

This speech was given in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th 2009, and was called, “A New Beginning.”

“It is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit..”

While Obama thinks we should bend over backwards for Islamism to practice whatever 7th century idiocy it imposes, including female mutilation and Sharia Law, which judges the testimony of a woman half as worthy as that of a man, he imposes policy that offends and curtails the ability of Catholics to practice their religion as they see fit.

That’s hope and change.

Real Employment Rate Plummeting While Obama Declares Victory

The Republican Study Committee put out this chart outlining the percentage of Americans who are ACTUALLY working, not the phony unemployment number which doesn’t take into account people who have stopped looking for work.

I thought I would improve on it for them.

Feel free to tweet this whenever anyone tries to say Obama’s Stimulus decreased unemployment.

This Week in Media Covering for the Parasitical Liberal Left

It’s been a busy week for the moronic wing comprising most of the Left! All manner of liberal idiots have shoved their feet so far down their own throats, they almost can’t goose-step to Obama’s commands! Somehow they still manage.

Yesterday, as I have detailed on my blog, and annoyed my twitter followers with, the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank derided Hispanics with one dim-witted sentence:

“The chimichanga? It may be the only thing Republicans have left to offer Latinos. “

Forget that the chimichanga isn’t even a latino dish, but actually invented by anglo Americans. How would the media take it if a right-winger had said democrats offer African-americans fried chicken, or chop suey to Asians? That poor gringo would have been strung up by his heels. Dana, being an obedient liberal, hardly even gets a tap on the wrist.

And in fact, when Conservative Latinos objected to his characterization, he continued mocking us with more tweets about Hispanic cuisine. Will the media hound him for this?

Obama’s own campaign manager, Jim Messina, got into the act and tweeted approval of the line. When called on it, he deflected, by digging the hole even deeper – he tweeted out an article characterizing Latinos as only caring about immigration. What is amazing is that polling shows Hispanics care first and foremost about jobs, almost twice as much as they care about immigration – maybe this is why Obama’s support is dwindling in the Latino community, another fact the article conveniently neglected to mention. Obama Campaign Manager Mocks Latinos

Today leftist halfwit and pasty white gringo Dana Milbank wrote a column decrying the GOP’s lack of pandering to the Latino community. Of course, the Obama administration has such a fantastic record of promising everything to Latinos, and giving us nothing.

Then, in a stroke of fantastic arrogance, he ends with this insulting line:

“The chimichanga? It may be the only thing Republicans have left to offer Latinos.”

Amazing – imagine if a conservative pundit had made that exact observation, or any other stereotypical comment about another racial group. We would be awash in howls to have them strung up by their heels.

Instead, to make things worse, Obama’s 2012 campaign manager, Jim Messina, tweeted the following in approval:
