Illegal Alien Journalist Who Mocked Border Laws and Dared ICE to Take Him Into Custody is Taken Into Custody by ICE
Jose Vargas is celebrated by the left for being an open illegal alien in America from the Philippines, and he’s often mocked Immigration officials, as below:
Waiting outside my hotel: U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Nice to see u. #dnc2012 http://t.co/8DcUC54J

And also dared them to take him into custody:
dear people who want me deported: i called @wwwicegov and asked what they wanted to do w/ me. their answer? no comment.

I called @wwwicegov when writing @TIME cover story. I asked ICE: "are you going to deport me?" Answer: "no comment." @DefineAmerican

For folks who wonder why I haven't gotten deported: I called the gov't myself while writing a story for @TIME. the gov had "no comment"

It is now being reported that he was detained while trying to report on the illegal alien surge in Southern Texas. It appears that Texas did the work that the U.S. Immigration office just wasn’t willing to do:

And if you think this isn’t a publicity stunt, here’s a video of him being questioned:
