Shameless Joan Walsh Calls John McCain a ‘coward’ for Choosing Sarah Palin for VP in 2008
In a shameless segment with professional race-baiter Al Sharpton, Salon editor Joan Walsh had the guts to call John McCain “cowardly” for choosing Sarah Palin as his Vice President pick in 2008. The comment was in response to John McCain himself calling Obama’s White House “cowardly” and saying it was AWOL, that is “Absent Without Official Leave,” a military term for someone who’s abandoned their post.
Watch below:
What makes it so pathetic for Walsh to call him cowardly is John McCain spent time in the notorious Communist Vietnamese torture camp called the “Hanoi Hilton,” where his arms were brutally broken many times over. That they refused him medical care left a permanent disability resulting in his not being able to raise his arms above his head. When his evil captors told him he could be let go early because his father was a top admiral, he refused to go before other captive Americans who had been there longer, in order to prevent his being used for propaganda purposes.
Whatever you may think of McCain and his politics, it’s utterly despicable to call him a coward in defense of a man whose most courageous act was to eat dog in Indonesia.
