BREAKING!! IT’S TEBOW TIME IN PHILADELPHIA!!!
As it was written in Revelations by African-American John of Patmos, lo it hath come to pass that Tim Tebow shall be passing the football (slowly and inaccurately) with the Philadelphia Eagles!!!
From the Bleacher Report:
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the 27-year-old quarterback will be signing with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, before the team’s offseason program begins.
…The New England Patriots released Tebow on Aug. 31, 2013, which caused most analysts to proclaim that it was the end of the line for Tebow at the NFL level.
Tebow hasn’t played an NFL game since the Pats cut him, and all signs pointed toward him taking a new career path. Tebow was hired by ESPN as an analyst for the SEC Network in December 2013, and he started to seem comfortable in front of the camera.
Even so, Tebow never closed the door on an NFL return. According to The Associated Press (via ESPN.com), Tebow claimed in January 2014 that he had continued to improve as a signal-caller: “I feel like I’m the best that I’ve ever been as a quarterback right now. I hope I get the opportunity to show that. But I’m also looking forward to being part of ‘SEC Nation’ and part of ESPN.”
And the Seventh trumpet sounded, and the Eagles came in last place. But the first shall be last and the last shall be first. So congratulations on your first place, Eagles!!
“…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
