OH MY! George Takei Goes Off On a Despicable RACIST Rant Against Clarence Thomas
One of the actors of Star Trek fame, George Takei spewed out a venomous and disgusting tirade of racism against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, calling him a “clown in blackface.”

What stirred up Takei’s passionate racism was Thomas’ comments on dignity:
Human dignity has long been understood in this country to be innate. When the Framers proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence that “all men are created equal” and “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,” they referred to a vision of mankind in which all humans are created in the image of God and therefore of inherent worth. That vision is the foundation upon which this Nation was built.
The corollary of that principle is that human dignity cannot be taken away by the government. Slaves did not lose their dignity (any more than they lost their humanity) because the government allowed them to be enslaved. Those held in internment camps did not lose their dignity because the government confined them. And those denied governmental benefits certainly do not lose their dignity because the government denies them those benefits. The government cannot bestow dignity, and it cannot take it away.
Takei might be upset because he stupidly believes Thomas was saying slaves were treated with dignity. Obviously he wasn’t. Philosophically it is true that government cannot take away dignity from any human person – that doesn’t mean they can’t be treated in a manner unworthy of their dignity. That’s all Thomas was saying.
But for Takei, it doesn’t matter what the truth of the matter it is, it only matters that Thomas ruled in a way that he dislikes and therefore he’s worthy of racist taunts. You’d think as a minority himself he’d know how disgusting it is to criticize a black person in that manner.
Luckily Takei cannot take away Thomas’ dignity either, no matter how hard he tries.
