Hey Scumbag Ann Telnaes, Would You Draw Obama’s Kids That Way Too?
Apparently they hand out Pulitzer Prizes to scumbags too because the Washington Post’s cartoonist has one, and she didn’t see the obvious problem with drawing Ted Cruz’s kids as monkeys:
UPDATE – looks like Ann deleted the tweet. Here’s the animated GIF she posted:
How utterly despicable.
No one even noticed until Cruz himself responded to it:
Just imagine the media nuclear war that would happen if a major news outlet published cartoons of Obama’s kids as monkeys? But hey, it’s OK to do it to Ted Cruz because he’s a right-winger. Deplorable degenerates.
This is the excuse she gives, knowing that some of us who have a sense of decorum that isn’t wallowing in the sewer might object:
Ted Cruz has put his children in a political ad- don’t start screaming when editorial cartoonists draw them as well. https://t.co/7hafBacOiK

And notice how Politico frames the story – as if the only problem is the cartoon, and not how they were depicted:
What foul wretched people they are. And they wonder why we hate the mainstream media so much…
UPDATE!!!!! Well it looks like Amanda Carpenter was correct about her prediction on this really scummy cartoon from Ann Telnaes depicting his kids as monkeys:
Here is the WaPo link because I bet they take it down pretty damn quick https://t.co/JlAJ7dItzH — Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) December 22, 2015
But there were enough people angry about it that they took it down and posted this explanation, and NOT an apology:
Editor’s note from Fred Hiatt: It’s generally been the policy of our editorial section to leave children out of it. I failed to look at this cartoon before it was published. I understand why Ann thought an exception to the policy was warranted in this case, but I do not agree.
This is exactly the kind of petty BS we’ve come to expect from the biased, left-leaning, boot-licking mainstream media. Screw them to hell.
