Michelle Obama Doubles Down On Liberal Re-Defining Of America’s Greatness From 2008
Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic Convention is being praised up and down by everyone because she *finally* admitted America is actually a great country in a teary-eyed poignant moment meant to undermine Trump’s messaging.
But because she dragged it out so long, people are missing that she redefined what American’s greatness really is.
Watch what she says:
She specifically links America’s greatness to HILLARY being nominated. AND that American children are being indoctrinated into feminism. THAT’S what makes it great.
Here’s the transcript of her comments:
That is the story of this country, the story that has brought me to this stage tonight, the story of generations of people who felt the lash of bondage, the shame of servitude, the sting of segregation, but who kept on striving and hoping and doing what needed to be done so that today I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves.
And I watch my daughters, two beautiful, intelligent, black young women playing with their dogs on the White House lawn.
And because of Hillary Clinton, my daughters and all our sons and daughters now take for granted that a woman can be president of the United States.
So, look, so don’t let anyone ever tell you that this country isn’t great, that somehow we need to make it great again. Because this right now is the greatest country on earth!
Sooooo, was America not great before that? Probably not in her eyes – consider the comment she made in 2008 that got her in trouble. She said that Barack Obama getting support for a nomination was the first time in her adult life that she was “proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”.”
She’s simply reiterating what she believed in 2008 – America’s greatness depends on it supporting left-wing liberals. That’s it.
And don’t ignore the constant race-baiting. If you’re able to swim through her breathless attempt at soaring rhetoric, she compares Hillary convincing her Wall Street donors that they should give her money to run for President again to the FIGHT AGAINST SLAVERY. No one notices because they’re just praising her up and down, but she made that exact comparison.
And finally, there’s this great observation by some guy on Twitter called @Mitrebox:
Fair point. It’s not about actually stamping out slavery. It’s about propagandizing the American public.
