Twitter Trends ‘Trudeau Eulogies’ To Mock His Shameful Statement On Castro’s Death
We all knew the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was a whiny left-wing milquetoast but his statement on Fidel Castro’s death was so pathetic and embarrassing, people are slamming it on social media.
Please read my statement on the passing of former Cuban President Fidel Castro: https://t.co/vIYCZrJGfg
— Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) November 26, 2016
Here’s what he wrote:
“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.
“I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.
“On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.”
All he says about Castro seizing property, murdering political dissidents, and destroying a beautiful country is that he was a “controversial figure.” It is really remarkable how leftists are able to ignore misery and death as long as it’s made in the name of communism.
Marco Rubio called it shameful and embarrassing:
Is this a real statement or a parody? Because if this is a real statement from the PM of Canada it is shameful & embarrassing. https://t.co/lFXeqU7Ws0

Others remarked with similar disgust:

Trudeau’s euphemism-lain Castro eulogy reminds me of the comedian who described Hitler as a “controversial Austrian politician.”

I'm disgusted by Trudeau's statement about the brutal dictator Castro. We should honour his victims, not the tyrant.
