When Sean Hannity Ignored Pleas Of The Family Of A Murdered Man To Absolve Russians

Sean Hannity is a stupid scumbag, and if you have an ounce of sense in your head, you’ll agree after reading how he’s now spreading absurd conspiracy theories, and ignoring the demands of the family of a dead man, just for the sake of absolving Trump and the Russians.

Here’s Sean Hannity pushing the ridiculous conspiracy theory that DNC staffer Seth Rich was murdered because he was leaking info to WikiLeaks. Take notice that he specifically says private investigator Rod Wheeler was “hired” by the family of Seth Rich.

What the scumbag doesn’t say, in order to mislead his idiot viewers, is that the family specifically denied that they had hired Wheeler – he was hired by a third party, not the family:

We are a family who is committed to facts, not fake evidence that surfaces every few months to fill the void and distract law enforcement and the general public from finding Seth’s murderers. The services of the private investigator who spoke to press was offered to the Rich family and paid for by a third party, and contractually was barred from speaking to press or anyone outside of law enforcement or the family unless explicitly authorized by the family.

So Wheeler agreed that he would not speak for the family about the case, but that’s how it’s being put out by idiots like Sean Hannity. And all of this was widely available before he aired his idiotic show for idiots.

Further, a representative of the family specifically warned against making exactly Hannity’s kind of BS conspiracy theory conclusion:

“It’s sad but unsurprising that a group of media outlets who have repeatedly lied to the American people would try and manipulate the legacy of a murder victim in order to forward their own political agenda,” Bauman told Business Insider. “I think there is a special place in hell for people like that.”

Yes there is, and there’s a special slot on Fox News channel for scumbags like that.

What is the point of this? It’s in the clip – he humiliates himself in order to exonerate the Russians. Because nothing will make his unrequited love for Trump blossom into true romance like helping the Russians get away with meddling in our election. What a great American!

NOW the family is demanding a retraction from Fox News under the threat of legal action:

“The family is officially asking for a retraction and an apology from Fox News and from the Fox 5 DC affiliate for inaccurate reporting and damaging the legacy of their son,” spokesman Brad Bauman said.

This week, both Fox News and WTTG-TV published and aired reports, sourced to private investigator Rod Wheeler, that said evidence showed Rich had been in contact with Wikileaks before his death. Wheeler later told CNN he had no such evidence and that he had, in fact, only heard of some information attributed to him from a Fox News reporter with whom he spoke.

Will the dumbass comply?

Bauman said that if Fox News and WTTG-TV do not take action, the family will.
“They need to retract the story or issue an apology or the family will consider other options, including legal, to clear their son’s name and get Fox to do what’s right,” he told CNN.

And this isn’t the first time Hannity has mislead his viewers when contrary information was readily available.
