Jay-Z Threatens Cuba Vacay Critics With Gun Violence in Rap Song; “Obama Said Chill, You Gonna Get Me Impeached”

Jay-Z and Beyonce were roundly criticized for having their anniversary vacation in the socialist paradise of Cuba. There were even some legislators inquiring as to how they were able to make the trip legally under our embargo policy until it was revealed that the treasury department gave them a pass.

Apparently Jay-Z didn’t appreciate the controversy, as he released an explicit rap song slamming back at his critics:

Politicians never did shit for me

Except lie to me, distort history

Wanna give me jail time and a fine

Fine, let me commit a real crime

Notice that ironically, his screed contradicts Obama’s continued attacks on private industry, especially his “you didn’t build that” comment. Jay-Z has always taken pride in building his rap career himself, and says politicians “never did shit” for him. Wonder if Obama would agree with his anti-government sentiments.

Despite the White House press secretary denying that Obama had anything to do with clearing the trip, Jay-Z raps:

Boy from the hood but got White House clearance

We definitely need a congressional investigation about this!

He seems to think he has inordinate power to screw up Obama’s presidency as well:

Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached

But you don’t need this shit anyway

Chill with me on the beach

And even goes so far as to threaten his critics with gun violence!! Hope he doesn’t mean the Senators and House Reps inquiring into how he got special privileges!
