VIDEO: Feminists Spew Scorn at Miss USA Pageant Winner Over Her Self-Defense Stance
Feminists were in an uproar over a very controversial and insensitive statement that is sure to haunt her for the rest of her life. She actually dared say that it might be good for women to learn self-defense to ward off would-be sexual attackers. Horror of horrors.

The question came from Rumer Willis who’s known for nothing other than being the daughter of Bruce Willis, which explains why she’s so bitter:
“Recently “Time Magazine” said 19% of U.S. undergraduate women are victims of sexual assault in college. Why has such a horrific epidemic been swept under the rug for so long and what can colleges do to combat this?”
Miss Nevada answered:
“I believe some colleges may potentially be afraid of having a bad reputation, and that would be a reason that it could be swept under the rug because they don’t want it to come out into the public but I think more awareness is very important so women can learn how to protect themselves. Myself as a fourth degree black belt, I learned from a young age that you need to be confident and being able to defend yourself and I think that’s something we should start to implement for a lot of women.”
Now for the evil sin of publicly advocating for women to take some steps to defend herself, she was immediately vilified, because as we all know, you just can’t say such things in today’s world governed by the PC police. Get ready:

Now in no way did Miss Nevada “blame victims for their rapes,” but that’s the warped thinking of feminists who want to blame all of culture instead of personal responsibility of the attacker.
Sorry Miss Nevada, but we should probably teach men to respect women, not just teach women self defense #YesAllWomen

I'm sorry Nevada just lost my support. We should teach women self-defense to prevent sex crimes? Uh how about we teach men not to rape.
— Maggie Miller (@magmilla) June 9, 2014
Boo Miss Nevada… It's not a woman's duty to learn self defense, it's society's duty to punish sex offenders and prevent sexual violence

Wrong answer Nevada. Women need to learn better self defense to end sexual assault? Cause it's not up to the men too or anything. #nocrown4u

Hmmm.Thx Miss Nevada, but a solution for reducing sexual assault shouldn't fall on women being trained in self defense.#yesimwatchingmissusa

Miss Iowa says today's youth are narcissistic followed by Miss Nevada who wants to end rape with self defense classes Really? Sick #MissUSA

Let's hope Nevada uses her media tour to reiterate that teaching girls self defense is NOT the best way to protect against assault #MissUSA

I'm seeing that Miss Nevada did say something during the Miss USA broadcast that reinforced rape culture so that sucks.

If Miss Nevada wins this, I quit. You CANNOT say teaching women how to protect themselves is a way to combat rape.
— Sage |-/ (@SassySage_) June 9, 2014
"Women should learn how to protect themselves" ok Nevada or men could learn to not rape lol what a concept
— morgan eiter (@MorganEiter) June 9, 2014
@Fashir Telling women that they NEED to protect themselves is victim blaming. It is not a victims responsibility to "protect" themselves.
— Sage |-/ (@SassySage_) June 9, 2014
@shellycollier Most rapists aren't even aware that what they did was wrong. Society justifies rape and victim blames. Women shouldn't

Unfortunately for the bitter wine-guzzling old cat-collecting feminists, the pageant judges didn’t seem to agree, because the gorgeous Nia Sanchez won the Miss USA crown. Damn you cisgender heternormal patriarchy!!
