Don Lemon Tells Paul Rodriguez He Can’t Want to Deport Illegals Because He’s an Immigrant!

The popular Mexican-born comedian Paul Rodriguez shocked the CNN panel on illegal immigration when he advocated for deportation for illegal immigrants. Shamelessly, Don Lemon accosted him by insinuating that legal immigrants like Rodriguez can’t be against illegal immigration. Yeah, that’s pretty pathetic.

Watch below:

Someone should tell Don Lemon that there are many LEGAL immigrants who are angry that ILLEGAL immigrants don’t wait in line like they did. This is a purposeful tactic of the left – if they erase the line between illegal and legal immigration, then they can smear people who want to cease illegal immigration with the “anti-immigrant” smear.

Thankfully, Paul Rodriguez didn’t fall for it.

Here’s an excerpt from his very well reasoned and eloquent argument:

“Y’know my heart goes out to the parents that have to traumatize their kids to go through Mexico – they must go through terrible abuse. But at the same time, if we accept these children and we don’t repatriate them, it’s only gonna send out a clear signal to everyone in Latin America that if you get to America, you will stay here. And then if you think those numbers are big now…”

Also can we stop acting like the damn poem on the Statue of Liberty takes precedence over our laws?! I’m gonna stab someone, I really am.

Wait What? Democrat Angrily Claims That Deporting Illegals… is Illegal!

  • Well Done

Lemon, and many on the left, use race-based thinking.
That’s why they are so quick to accuse others of racism.
Here, he assumes that because Rodriguez is from Mexico, he must be in favor of illegals from Mexico being in America.
Aside from being entirely stupid, that assumption is heinously racist.

    That poem says:
“Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

    It doesn’t say:
“Go ahead and toss your kids over the border anywhere you like”

Lady Liberty stands on Ellis Island. That is where the Golden Door was, back before we had a welfare state.

  • My mother was an immigrant. She came into this country standing up, not crawling under a fence. She had a letter from a church pastor attesting to her good character, a letter from her employer saying she had a work ethic, and the names & addresses of three families who could take care of her if she became dependent. These used to be requirements to enter this country and become a citizen. And she HATED illegal aliens. What’s so hard to understand?

The United States of America doesn’t define it’s identity the same way many nations do.

Lacking a common race, a common faith, or a common world view, that border is all that is left. As a people who identifies itself by the rule of law, that border represents the limits of our jurisdiction. We choose to be subject to the ‘Rule of Law’ rather than be subjects of the whims of other men.

A ‘Common Law’ requires that no exceptions be made for any arbitrary identity group. A common law favors no one.

That’s a exactly what’s missing from any Amnesty proposal; ‘Universal Background Checks’. This is the same thing that every reputable employer would require from you before they would ever consider giving you a job.

If we only had some kind of ‘US Department of Immigration and Naturalization’, then maybe people who wanted to emigrate to the United States would have some recourse. If only there was some legal way to ……. (Yes, this is sarcasm.)

No other nation in the world would tolerate this illegal immigration mess, not even other “nation of immigrants” like Canada, Australia or Israel. Especially Israel. http://www.unz.com/isteve/now-thats-a-fence/

In canada, they practice the “best and brightest” approach to immigration. In USA under Obama, it’s de facto Reconquista.

In Canada, the immigrant minority population are: 15.3% Asian Canadians, 2.8% Black Canadians and only 1.2% Hispanic Canadians.

  • No wonder Canada sucks.

Common law is still anglosaxon by history and language

“This would argue for a common world view”

If you mean that I’m arguing for an end to class separation, then yes.

Let’s Alinsky this thing and remind the left that Cesar Chavez was virulently anti-illlegal.

We are a nation of immigrants. NOT ILLEGAL immigrants! Or at least we were at one time.
