5 Ways The Republican Approved Budget Completely CAVED To Obama’s Agenda!

paul ryan obama

Republicans took the opportunity to spinelessly cave in to the entire Obama agenda while we were all preoccupied with whatever Trump was yelling at the time, and the GOP debate.

Here’s five things that should completely outrage you about the trillion dollar omnibus bill:

1.) They Took Our Jobs!! Quadruples Legal Immigration

From Senator Jeff Sessions summary of the Omnibus bill:

The more than 2,000 page year-end funding bill contains a dramatic change to federal immigration law that would increase by as much as four-fold the number of low-wage foreign workers provided to employers under the controversial H-2B visa program, beyond what is currently allowed. These foreign workers are brought in exclusively to fill blue collar non-farm jobs in hotels, restaurants, construction, truck driving, and many other occupations sought by millions of Americans.

At a time of record immigration – with a full 83% of the electorate wanting immigration frozen or reduced – the GOP-led Congress is about to deliver Obama a four-fold increase to one of the most controversial foreign worker programs. The result? Higher unemployment and lower wages for Americans.

2. ) Will Allow Obama To Bring In Tons of Syrian Refugees

More from Sessions:

On top of this provision, the omnibus approves – without conditions – the President’s request for increased refugee admissions, allowing him to bring in as many refugees as he wants, from anywhere he wants, and then allow them to access unlimited amounts of welfare and entitlements at taxpayer expense. This will ensure that at least 170,000 green card, refugee and asylum approvals are issued to migrants from Muslim countries over just the next 12 months.

3. ) Gives A BILLION DOLLARS To Mexico And Central American Nations

Here’s a  proud announcement of all the money we’re rewarding Mexico and Central American countries for letting tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to sneak into America:

Today Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX-28) announced that the Fiscal Year 2016 government funding bill includes more than $897 million worth of support for Mexico and Central America, provisions that he and Kay Granger (R-TX-12), chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, have fought for.

The omnibus includes $750 million in funding to implement the United States Strategy for Engagement in Central America in support of the Plan of the Alliance for Prosperity in the Northern Triangle of Central America, which, if successfully implemented, will help reduce illegal immigration to the United States and bolster regional governance, prosperity, and security.

It’s reasonable to give them aid in order to shut down the illegal immigration that we don’t want, but what do you want to bet we’ll never see any results from all that money being sent south of the border?

4. ) FULLY FUNDS Sanctuary Cities For Illegal Aliens

Republicans have been trying to fulfill the wishes of most Americans by shutting down funding of Sanctuary Cities and demanding that local authorities cooperate with immigration officials, but this bill throws all that out and helps subsidize the endangerment of Americans.

5. ) Funds Billions In Tax Credits For Illegal Aliens

Some people exaggerate the welfare that illegal aliens are able to access from the government, but there’s one program that is not in dispute at all. Those are child tax credit that add up to billions, and go to illegal alien parents of citizen children. The money is meant to be spent on the citizen children, but it has to go to their caretakers, regardless of their legal status. Republicans previously tried to shut down this loophole, but Democrats voted it down.

So there it is.

And people wonder why Americans are fed up and distrust anything that any politician says.

How come we’re not hearing about any of this from the candidates? You would think all of this would have been perfect fodder at the debates, but it wasn’t mentioned ONCE!!!

With regard to #2, there is already separate legislation to control the number of refugees. That bill passed the House with a veto-proof majority on Nov. 19 but Senate Democrats have said they will block it. McConnell will take up the bill in the Senate after the holiday break. Most of the whining is about stuff that should be in its own bill (and in at least one case, is). Some on the right are just pissed they don’t get their shutdown drama over their pet issue.

A shame Paul Ryan didn’t slide something in the bill to allow Middle Class taxpayers to write off anal lube on their taxes.

    “1.) They Took Our Jobs!!”

    —-

Aren’t H2B visas mostly for ‘Low Skilled’ or ‘No Skilled’ people? They won’t be taking very many jobs. They’ll all be on welfare.

Their nations of origin are raising their own standard of living, and raising the average income of their own citizens by dumping all the poor and unskilled people in the United States. Their welfare system is OUR welfare system.

If we went looking for “workers” in these nations, these would not be the people we would choose.

  • Marla Hughes

Sessions, as much as I admire him is exaggerating on the H2-B visas. He takes the extreme limit and then quadruples it somehow. His methodology hasn’t been explained as yet.

It must be noted that the type of labor the H2-B visas cover is currently being done by *illegal immigrants* at least in part. Bringing in more legal immigrants forces illegal ones back over the border due to lack of jobs. Or at least encourages them to go home and get legal and then come back.

#5 is simply not true. Child Care Tax Credits (CCTC) are only available if someone pays money for childcare and even then it’s for only a portion of it.
