MSNBC’s Chris Hayes created a firestorm when he just couldn’t bring himself to call the U.S. military “heroic” on Memorial Day and enraged a lot of Americans and vets. This is rather ironic considering how blithely he recently described the ISIS terrorists as being in a “heroic romantic struggle.”
No wonder liberals were so sympathetic to Bowe Berghdal’s desertion – they are much more “comfortable” calling terrorists “heroic” than they are calling our soldiers the same thing.
