Watergate Journalists: Democrats and the Press Aren’t Seeking Answers in IRS Tea Party Targeting Scandals
The journalists who inspired a generation to target politicians are saying that not only is the press too lazy and disinterested to find real answers in the Tea Party targeting IRS scandal, but Democrats are also stonewalling the investigation.
The duo were speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union” on whether these scandals were comparable to their Watergate investigation which brought down President Nixon. Both said that these are real scandals, but the difference is neither the press nor the opposing party cares about the truth.
