Whatever you think of John McCain on every other issue, it’s hard to deny that he knows his foreign policy and in this segment after Obama’s ISIS speech, he slapped around his former Press Secretary Jay Carney on his leadership failures that led to ISIS.

Really at the core of the disagreement is whether the creation of ISIS would have been prevented if we had armed some of the rebels fighting Assad. While we’ll never know for sure, it is a fact that ISIS split off from those fighters, and we’ve also known about them for months as McCain says.
