So a buncha social justice warriors were trying to make some point about how Canadians are open-minded about Muslims after the Ottawa attack that took a soldier’s life, and one gets punched in the face pretty bad.

Yeah, well I think the filmmakers got what they deserved. You’re not saying a whole lot by treating a random Muslim poorly and having people defend him. That would be true in America, I’m pretty sure. This is just an opportunity for Canadians to smugly assume they’re better than everyone else while completely ignoring the real threat of Muslim extremism.
Or it could have been white Canadian knockout game?
