On Tuesday Florida police announced that they had busted an enormous ring of people accused of committing sexual assault on children. One of the accused, Ahmed Saleem, was an official of CAIR Florida, and they even had him represent them at a press conference where they announced they were suing the FBI earlier this year:

Well that’s kinda awkward. Of course, Saleem is innocent until proven guilty. But given the circumstances of his arrest:AMP
Deputies took screen grabs from the website of a leader in the Muslim community, Ahmed Saleem. Saleem is the founder of the Saleem Academy, an organization dedicated to empowering Muslim youth globally. He is also a member of Council on American–Islamic Relations, or CAIR, out of Orlando.
“I find this one interesting. He’s on a child’s playground,” Sheriff Judd said as he held up a picture.
According to his arrest affidavit, Saleem was trying to arrange to have sex with who he thought was a 12-year-old girl.
…I think CAIR might have good reason to have scrubbed his bio from their site already.AMP
