Big Stupid Contradiction in Trump Social Media Guy’s Statement On ‘Star of David’ Meme
The Trumpster fire continues burning strong on Independence Day as Trump’s media guy releases a statement about the idiotic “Star of David” meme scandal, and manages to stupidly contradict himself even though it’s just 4 sentences.
Here’s the statement:
STATEMENT FROM TRUMP CAMPAIGN SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR DAN SCAVINO:
The social media graphic used this weekend was not created by the campaign nor was it sourced from an anti-Semitic site. It was lifted from an anti-Hillary Twitter user where countless images appear.
The sheriff’s badge – which is available under Microsoft’s “shapes” – fit with the theme of corrupt Hillary and that is why I selected it.
As the Social Media Director for the campaign, I would never offend anyone and therefore chose to remove the image.
OK so here’s the thing – he says that he “selected” the sheriff’s badge among the Microsoft shapes. But in the sentence prior to that he says the entire meme was lifted from a Twitter user. How on God’s Earth are both possibly true? Either he made it or he lifted it.
Amazing. Just amazing.
Also, leave paper-clip guy alone!!!
