Breaking: Reports Of Chris Dorner in Gunfight With Authorities in Big Bear

Los Angeles Local News, Weather, and Traffic Chris Dorner tied up a couple, stole their white pickup, and drove off down highway 38 – there was an exchange of gunfire with authorities. This has been confirmed through the police by KFI News. He is in a 2008 White Dodge Truck with a trailer hitch. The highways in and out of Big Bear are closed. A local TV station reports than officer is down.

Reports that he’s throwing smoke grenades, and shooting with an automatic weapon. Someone matching his description crashed a truck, and a pursuit began on foot – a gunfight between the suspect and authorities began.

Unfortunately one of the deputy sheriffs that were shot has died. The other is expected to survive.
The cabin where Dorner was barricading himself is now on fire.
