A police shooting in Los Angeles has been live-tweeted by an eyewitness who posted this video on Facebook of the aftermath.

In the video, a bystander starts yelling, “Hands Up Don’t Shoot.” Additionally, while Jordan White says he say the man be shot in front of him, when the police asks for witnesses, he stays quiet while recording.

Officers responded to the location around 6:45 pm. after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Officer Jane Kim with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Office.
When they arrived on scene, officers found a man armed with a knife, according to Detective Meghan Aguilar.
“When he saw the officers, he approached them and an officer involved shooting occurred,” Aguilar said.
