Did ‘Anonymous’ Hackers Warn About The New York Stock Exchange ‘Glitch’ Last Night?

The NYSE has stopped for a few hours so far, and some are wondering if this tweet from last night was a warning that the hacking collective “anonymous” is to blame:

The short answer is NO. I doubt “anonymous” would have the capability to shut down the exchange, and this is the kind of innocuous tweeting they do all the time. I’d be more persuaded if they specifically named the New York exchange, but it just said “Wall Street.” There are plenty of other screw-ups in the world, like Greece for instance, that might make a random anonymous Twitter account muse about the fall of Wall Street.

Now, the North Koreans or Chinese, on the other hand…
