CNN Says Source Denies ‘Fractured Eye Socket’ Injury of Darren Wilson

Wilson was taken to the hospital after the shooting. He had xrays which came back negative. He was treated for a swollen face. #ferguson

This fits with comments made by the police chief in the first days of the investigation when he said Wilson’s face was swollen but offered no other details. Other reports say he was beat nearly unconscious, which are controverted by pictures and video of Wilson apparently walking around very soon after the shooting.
Whatever actually happened, it’s best to take all reports with a skeptical attitude, whether they confirm your personal political bias or not. Eventually, the truth will out.
