Soldiers Tweet About Fall of Ramadi
I’ve heard reactions from former soldiers that range from “who cares, let them go to hell” to ones like @PlunkettPrime, who is disappointed to see the key city of Ramadi in Iraq fall to ISIS after American soldiers had fought so hard to secure it from al-Qaeda.
His tweet has gotten a lot of support:
Watching Ramadi fall to ISIS tears me up. 103 people from my Brigade died there. Not typo. I'm 24, dumb, & in combat. pic.twitter.com/EBs20w8zvL

Unfortunately, that means the America-haters and degenerate ISIS supporters come out too:

And he’s not the only one:
In 2006 I was in Ramadi. It is hard to see all of our blood sweat and hard work gone. pic.twitter.com/QD52jeHilI

I served in Ramadi and a great many brave Americans died there. To see it fall breaks my heart for their families. It actually angers me.

The fall Ramadi is heart breaking for since I served there and seen all the good we have done is now gone

@Berkeley2 I can understand, when I see Ramadi, Fallujah and the other places I served under ISIL control I despair

It must be terrible to know what cost American soldiers paid to free that city, and have Obama throw it away so easily. Elections have consequences, and so do foolish electorates.
